WtE Industry Barometer: Industry Defies COVID-19 Crisis

As in the years before, CEWEP supported ecoprog in conducting a survey regarding the Waste-to-Energy (WtE) industry barometer 2020 and has encouraged its members to actively participate.

The Waste-to-Energy (WtE) sector embodies a reliable anchor during the crisis. It provides positive impetus for investments and employment while ensuring reliable waste treatment services in turbulent times, despite travel restrictions and contact constraints which complicated and delayed several actions.

As demonstrated during the COVID-19 crisis, thermal treatment represents an indispensable and solid pillar in waste management.
