Dr. Anja Weisgerber MEP (EPP-Germany) kindly  hosted an exhibition on the role Waste-to-Energy plays in daily life, and in achieving EU Energy and Resource efficiency goals, from 8-10 October 2012 in the European Parliament, Brussels.

On 10 October 2012 a cocktail was held at the exhibition, in combination with the celebration of CEWEP’s 10 Birthday.

On 11 October 2012 CEWEP organised a visit to the INTRADEL Waste-to-Energy plant in Liège, to provide stakeholders and the public the oportunity to experience first hand how Waste-to-Energy plants work and how they contribute to Energy and Resource Efficiency.
